Best Bubble Tea in Atlanta

Having been busy with moving, I couldn't have enough time to finish this post. Now that everything is settled and I live in metro Atlanta again, I need to write more posts about all the delicious restaurants.

It is amazing that in Atlanta, so many options for bubble teas and snacks. Especially when you are on Buford Highway, or Duluth. Now here are some of the best.

1 Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe
Address: 5150 Buford Hwy Ste A-100 Doraville GA 30340
Phone: 470-545-2585
Website: http://www.sweethutbakery.com/
Cheap authentic Cantonese bakeries, bubble teas, snacks and more. Who can deny that?! Sweet Hut is so popular that it's hard to find a seat in busy nights. Almost every Asian knows this place and goes there. What's more, they close late, 3AM late. Try their grass jelly bubble tea, egg tarts and chicken nuggets. Egg tarts run out quickly. They has a midtown branch newly opened, and is coming to Duluth, nearby Great Wall Supermarket.

2 Quickly
Address: 5090 Buford Hwy Ste 106 Doraville GA 30340
Phone: 404-348-8847
Headquartered in Taiwan, opposite to Sweet Hut Buford Highway location, Quickly is seriously Sweet Hut's biggest competitor. I like their grass jelly bubble tea much better, since they put more stuff as original ones. But they only accept CASH. The Duluth Quickly looks better than Buford highway one.

3 720 Bakery
Address: 3675 Satellite Blvd Ste 720 Duluth GA 30096
Phone: 678-622-7833
Steamed pork bun, mooncakes, egg tarts and more. 720 was a copy cat, but as they grew, they have transformed themselves to a new image with a niche market, decent price and good quality. Aside from bubble tea, they also provide healthy choices, such as fresh-pressed vegetable and fruit juice without sugar added.

4 Kung Fu Tea
Address: 5280-A Buford Hwy Doraville GA 30340
Phone: 770-455-8585
Kung Fu Tea is more on the drink side compare to other bakery shops, and their price is not so cheap, especially when you are ordering their specialties. Drinks are on the sweet side, which is why it ranks No. 4. But as always, you can request for less sugar. Their golden oolong milk tea is the best to order. Lots of lots of oolong flavors. Also not enough space for busy nights, because the shop is small.

5 Boba Macha
Address: 2628 Pleasant Hill Rd Ste 100 Duluth GA 30096
Phone: 678-367-3757
They name their shop with boba, how bad could their boba tea be? Their drinks have some flavors different than others, such as pomegranate, and you can build your own milk tea with whatever you want. Or even better, you can add real fresh fruit in your bubble tea. The whole store is ran by Taiwanese(authentic!). Their cheap lunch and snacks are my favorites! They also has loyalty program: when you get 9 drinks, you get 1 free.

6 White Windmill Bakery and Cafe
Address: 5881 Buford Hwy NW Doraville GA 30340
Phone: 678-887-5200
After so many choices, maybe you want to try something new, something different. White Windmill probably is a good choice for you to try slush style milk tea. Without doubt, White Windmill provides quality drinks and pastries, it also asks higher prices to match the presentation. I've never had bad experience with its pastries, and it's roasting single origin coffee beans now, including Blue Mountain.

7 Cozy Corner
Address: 10475 Medlock Bridge Rd Johns Creek GA 30097
Phone: 678-900-6168
Website: http://www.cozycornertea.com/
A hidden gem in Johns Creek. They claim that no artificial flavors or ingredients are added to cakes and drinks! The selection of bubble teas are less than normal, which helps you decide. But the sweetness and ingredients are so good, and the aloe vera is the freshest in town, made from scratch. Therefore its bubble tea secretly ranks No 1 in my heart. Cozy Corner also has limited amounts of pastries like its drink menu.

I'll update some photo later, after I get a bunch of milk tea fix :P
